Cat5e is short for category 5 enhanced Ethernet cables which are used for many applications that necessitate high bandwidth capacity, high data transfer rates, high data integrity, reduction in cross talk and electromagnetic interferences, high reliability and so on. The cat5e 1000ft box contains the relevant networking cable that is 1000ft long, each successive foot marked on the cable’s outer jacket.
The cables are available at Smartech Cables with different features and design: there are plenum, riser, as well as PVC, insulated cat5e cables. Each of the stated cables has its own different use and application for which it has been designed.
They meet and even exceed the set standards of the industry. For instance, the prevailing standard set by TIA/EIA for cat5e is to support 100 MHz, our cat5e 1000ft box is tested to support up to 350, 550mhz bandwidth frequency. Also, it has been tested to support high speeds of up to 1000 Mbps gigabit speeds. Ideally, you can use this cable for voice, video, or data transmissions and for LAN applications. This high-performance Ethernet cable is ideal for voice streaming, video streaming, Token Ring Type 3, 10BASE-T (Ethernet), 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet) 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet GbE) and so on.
Our cat5e high-quality cables feature 24 American Wire Gauge (AWG), four color-coded unshielded twisted pairs and eight solid conductors. Externally, the wires in these cables are twisted way more tightly as opposed to the wires in a regular cat5 cable. This along with the strong and thicker sheathing of our cable can reduce cross talks in the setup and it can, therefore, provide excellent attenuation. In contrast with the regular cat5 cable, this cable is designed to be more resistive against cross talks and thus, it provides more protection against Power Sum Equal-Level Far-End Crosstalk (PS-ELFEXT), Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Alien Crosstalk (AXT). This means that the integrity of your data will be protected and there will be a reduction in the loss of data packets while the data travels through the cables. There will be a low bit error rate, and you can enjoy smooth data transmissions at higher frequencies.
